Back our national pride by placing your bets through the Jenius196 platform
If you grew up in Malaysia, there is a good chance badminton is part of who you are. From watching the Jalur Gemilang fly at Istora Senayan during the Thomas Cup, to staying up through the night to see Lee Chong Wei face Lin Dan — badminton is the sport closest to the Malaysian heart. Now, Jenius196 is here to make watching badminton even more thrilling with the most comprehensive betting markets in Malaysia.
What sets the Badminton section at Jenius196 apart is the depth of coverage we offer. It's not just about who wins or loses — we provide over 25 market types for every major match. You can bet on the overall winner, the winner of each set, total points in a set, whether the match goes to a third set, who scores the first point, and much more. This isn't your average betting experience — it's the most immersive way to engage with every badminton match you watch.
Lee Zii Jia is now the face of Malaysian badminton on the international stage. His aggressive, explosive style makes every match unpredictable — and that's exactly what makes betting on Zii Jia so thrilling. Jenius196 provides full coverage of every Zii Jia match across all BWF World Tour tiers, from Super 300 to the World Tour Finals. Odds are updated in real time as the match unfolds, so you can place bets while Zii Jia is right there on court.
Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik have been Malaysia's most celebrated men's doubles pair since their bronze medal run at the Tokyo Olympics. The pair continue to be a dominant force on the BWF circuit, and Jenius196 ensures every one of their matches is available for betting with comprehensive markets. For doubles matches, the most popular markets at Jenius196 include who wins the first set, the total number of sets in the match, and whether the home pair will win each set by a margin of more than five points.
Malaysia's women's doubles is brilliantly represented by Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah, a partnership that has grown increasingly consistent on the world stage. Their strong performances over the past two years make them an exciting pick for bettors — their odds regularly draw attention from Jenius196 users who follow the women's doubles scene closely.
Beyond Malaysian names, Jenius196 also covers players and teams from around the world. Viktor Axelsen from Denmark, Kento Momota from Japan, An Se Young from Korea, and the Chinese doubles pairs who frequently dominate the world rankings — all available across Jenius196's markets. That means even when no Malaysian players are competing in a tournament, there are still plenty of compelling matches to follow and bet on.
The Thomas Cup and Uber Cup are the two most prestigious team badminton championships in the world, and Malaysia is always one of the most anticipated sides among fans globally. Jenius196 offers dedicated markets for both tournaments — including overall team betting (who will lift the Thomas Cup), per-tie betting (who wins Malaysia vs Country X), and individual match betting within a tie. The Sudirman Cup, which combines all five badminton categories into a single team format, also receives full coverage at Jenius196.
The Malaysia Badminton Cup and National Championships give Jenius196 the opportunity to let local badminton fans follow and bet on the young Malaysian talents making their way up. Not every big name in Malaysian badminton was famous from the start — many first turned heads through these domestic tournaments. With Jenius196, you can be among the first to discover and back Malaysia's next badminton stars.

More than just win or lose — explore the many ways to bet on every match
Badminton is a uniquely compelling sport for betting. Unlike football, which can be decided by a single goal, a badminton match contains hundreds of points — and every single one can shift the momentum entirely. That means the opportunity to leverage your knowledge of the game is exceptionally high at Jenius196, especially through Live Betting as the action unfolds.
One thing Malaysian badminton fans need to understand is how to read match momentum. In badminton, a player who leads by a large margin in the first set does not necessarily go on to win the overall match. History shows that many matches end 2–1 after dramatic reversals. Jenius196 provides detailed statistics including head-to-head records between two players, performance records in three-set matches, and current form at the ongoing tournament — all of this information is available before you place your bet.
To bet on badminton at Jenius196, the first step is to create a free account on the Register. The process takes less than two minutes. Once your account is active, make a deposit using any Malaysian payment method you prefer — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX (Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks), Boost, or ShopeePay. The minimum deposit is just RM 30, enough to get started with a few of your favourite badminton bets.
Navigate to the Badminton section under the Sports menu on Jenius196. There you will find a list of all active badminton tournaments. Click on your preferred tournament, then select the match you are interested in. Each match displays all available markets — from straightforward options like the match winner, to more specific ones like the total points in the second set. Choose your market, enter your stake, review the potential payout and confirm. Simple as that.
For matches in progress, Jenius196 delivers an unmatched Live Betting experience. While Lee Zii Jia is out on court, you can bet on the next point, who takes the next long rally (through dedicated odds markets), or whether Zii Jia will level the score before the set ends. Odds refresh every few seconds, reflecting exactly what's happening on court in real time. It's the most thrilling way to watch Malaysian badminton.
Winnings from badminton bets on Jenius196 are credited directly to your account balance as soon as the match ends. You can withdraw to your Malaysian bank account within 5 to 15 minutes.
